This is the third installment in the Twilight series and it was quite good.
Bella, as usual, is her normal klutzy self. She’s a hard one to keep track of and safe. She can manage to slip away or get hurt in circumstances that others couldn’t. It’s pretty amusing at times.
I’d also have to say that I really like Alice. With every book I’ve read I’ve come to like her more. She’s one of my favorite characters. She’s funny and the things she manages to drag Bella into are usually hilarious. The whole Cullen clan sound fascinating to me. It was also interesting in this book that the lives of more of the Cullen’s was revealed; like how they ended up in the vampire world and their feelings about it.
Well the battle rages on in this novel between Edward and Jacob. This novel is based quite a bit on the choices Bella must make between the two. It’s really hard to pick a favorite. Edward is such a sweetheart and sounds so incredible but then so does Jacob and with Jacob she can still be human and experience human things like having children if she wanted to.
It will be interesting to see how Stephenie Meyer wraps up this series. Will Bella marry Edward or will she ultimately choose Jacob. Will she become a vampire or change her mind and opt for being human and having a family. It seems like the decision has been made at the end of this book but I really think there’s more to come where this love triangle is concerned.
I like Alice too. She’s one of my favourite characters. She’s still so nice to Bella even though Bella is quite rude to her at times. In fact, Bella is kind of rude to almost everyone!
I enjoyed reading Eclipse. Much better than New Moon. Rosalie and Jasper’s stories, the werewolves history, the love triangle, a very good mix. 🙂
Here is my review.
Josette, I get such a kick out of Bella but Alice is just too funny most of the time. I still have Breaking Dawn to read although I’ve heard mixed reviews of it.
