Well first of all I must mention that it’s been a beautiful day here today-the sun was shining and well it wasn’t really hot, it was still nice to sit outside and enjoy reading a book.
So, on to other things. I took my mom shopping today and while she was shopping I, of course, went to the book store and fortunately or unfortunately for me they had some really good sales. Fortunately, because even though my shelves are overflowing, it’s still nice to bring those new books home with their new book smell. Unfortunately, because my shelves are overflowing and I just don’t know that I’ll ever get all of these books read in my lifetime. LOL.
Anyhow, because of this shopping trip I must change my Summer Reading Challenge already and I just put the list together last night. LOL. My new list is now:
June:
Hold Tight by Harlan Coben
East of Eden by John Steinbeck
The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory
July:
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Turtle Valley by Gail Anderson-dargatz
Late Nights on Air by Elizabeth Hay
August:
The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai
Sepulchre by Kate Mosse
Yada Yada Gets Down by Neta Jackson
So, now I’m going to relax and curl up in my chair with Harlan Coben and Hold Tight and my puppy by my feet.
Hi Dar! I’m so glad you stopped by my blog and left a comment. I see that you are relatively new to the blogosphere. Welcome! 🙂 Now I have a new blog to add onto my Google Reader. I’ll be back!
Hi Dar.. the summer Reading Challenge seems so fun. I am so tempted to join you!
Love the blog and your selections.
Hey Joy, thanks for stopping by. I do hope you come back.
Toni, you should join the summer reading. It’s a good way to get some of those books read-I’ve got to read some of my own instead of the libraries. LOL. Thanks for visiting my blog!
