Looks good! I read The Book Thief last year and really liked it, though I admit it took me a little while to get into it.

I keep seeing The Story of Edgar Sawtelle popping up on lists. Some of Oprah’s picks seem so very depressing to me, so I’m going to wait and see what everyone thinks of this one before I make a decision on it. 🙂

    Thanks for joining the challenge!

I’ve been interested in The Abstinence Teacher ever since I heard about it. I can’t wait for your review because you’ll get finished much sooner than I will. 🙂

    I joined this challenge, too.

Looks like you’ll be reading some great books. I LOVED The Book Thief. I also want to read Lady Chatterley’s Lover and The Heretic’s Daughter. Can’t wait to read what you have to say about them.

    Thanks daddy’s chick’s, Lindsay 🙂

Trish, all the classics are the ones I have for your challenge. lol. I cheated.

Hi Katrina, thanks for popping in. I haven’t been too intrigued by Oprah’s picks in quite a while but I’m going to give this one a go. I’m looking forward to the challenge although I think I may already be changing my list. Yikes.

Jennifer, I’m about halfway through The Abstinence Teacher. I should finish it in the next week or so. It’s not too bad so far.

Natasha, that’s what everyone is telling me regarding The Book Thief. I’m anxious to read it. I look forward to seeing your list for fall.

Thanks Eva, I will be dropping by your site. I love leaving comments and getting them!

Anna, I’ll be popping over to see your list. I just finished Chatterley. I should have the review up today. The other’s I’ll be getting to eventually-lol.

At the point in the year I’m cheating anywhere I can. 🙂 I allowed cross-overs just for that reason…

I need to pick up The Abstinence Teacher by Tom Perrotta. I really enjoyed Little Children.

The Book Thief is one of my favorite books – hope you like it too!

I reviewed The Triumph of Deborah on my blog last week – here’s the link in case you missed it:http://presentinglenore.blogspot.com/2008/09/book-review-triumph-of-deborah-by-eva.html

Glad you’re feeling better, I missed you stopping by!

Hi Lenore, thanks. I’ve not read Little Children but I’ve heard it’s quite good-I’ll have to add it to the list. I’ll have my review for Abstinence Teacher up sometime this week. I’m pretty sure I starred your review of Deborah to come back to once I’ve read it. I’ll add it onto my review when I get that far. lol.

Lenore, I have Abstinence Teacher up now.

Swapna, I agree. I was looking at my list again and thinking how am I ever going to read those. I guess I’ll see how many I get through-hopefully most.
