Yes, it is that time-FALL is coming at a fast clip-especially here in Canada. Just in time, there is a fun challenge to take away some of the fall blues for some of us (ahem-me!). Katrina over at Callapidder Days is hosting Fall Into Reading 2008. The official dates are September 22-December 20, 2008.
For now, Katrina asks that we spread the word about the challenge and decide on what we plan on reading. On September 22 she’ll put up a Mr. Linky and you can submit your post with your reading list. Then again on December 21 she’ll put up another Mr. Linky and you can submit your wrap up post with what you’ve accomplished during the challenge. There will even be prizes during the challenge-how great is that!
Want to join in the fun of the Fall Into Reading Challenge, visit here to learn more. I’ll be back with my list in the next while.
Looking forward to your list, Dar.
Gosh, I was just working on it a bit and it’s scary. I’m not sure how I think I’ll read all of them with working and Christmas. lol.
I have a love/hate relationship with fall. We don’t have much of a one here in the south–no changing of colors like y’all get. But it will be nice to have a little break from the heat. I do love love love Halloween, though!! One of my favorite times of the year. Have a great time with the challenge. I’m all challenged out right now.
Pssst, Dar! Look who commented on my Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict post!!!
I am so joining this one! 🙂 And my list won’t be as insane as the last one…lol!
Thanks for dropping by my blog and commenting! 🙂
I’m debating signing up for this challenge … I sort banned myself from any more challenges b/c I was getting overwhelmed … but I’m reconsidering this one since we get to set our goals … we’ll see …
Trish, that is the thing I dislike most about winter-the cold. The piles of snow aren’t the greatest either. For me, fall means winter is on it’s way so I’m not real fond of it. I love Halloween also. I’ve already begun buying a few more things to put out. I like this challenge because it’s books I’m already planning to read along with the ones in my challenges. lol-we’ll have to see how I do.
I saw Mary-that’s wonderful! She’s really great about paying attention to the people who enjoy her novel, that’s for sure. It’s nice to see.
J.Kaye, I joined because I saw this on your blog…
Heather, that’s what I like about this one. It can include books you were already planning to read. More of a no pressure kind of challenge which is best with Christmas coming. Thanks for popping in-hope you do again.
