Mailbox Monday (Nov. 10)

November 10, 2008 by Darlene

It’s time again for Mailbox Monday hosted by Marcia over at The Printed Page. It’s where we let everyone know what goodies arrived in our mailboxes last week.

I had a pretty good week last week. This is my list…

  • Woman of a Thousand Secrets by Barbara Wood (won over at Redlady’s Reading Room)
  • Dead Witness by Joylene Nowell Butler (won over at J. Kaye’s Book Blog)
  • Nigella Christmas (review copy)
  • Annette Valon by James Tipton (from Harper Collins)
  • Knit Two by Kate Jacobs (from publisher)
  • Thank You For All Things by Sandra Kring (won over at Fizzy Thoughts)

What about you-did you get anything to share last week in your mailbox?

I just got in THE CHEMIST by Janson Mancheski. It’s a thriller and I think it’s gonna be a good one.

Jill, Mari-Knit Two is good so far. I should finish it up in the next day or so.

Joy, thanks-it was a good week.

Mary, I love Nigella’s show too. She and Contessa are my faves with Rachel Ray close behind. lol.

J.Kaye, that sounds right up your alley. I’ll be watching for your review.

Kathy, Nigella’s Christmas is sure a nice book-very nicely set up. I haven’t had a big chance to look into yet but what I have is very nice.

Lenore, Serena–I’ve heard nothing but good things about Woman of a Thousand Secrets. I’m looking forward to it.

Bonnie, I’m enjoying Knit Two but I sure do miss Georgia.

Marvin, yes you did so that should be showing up in the next few weeks. I have a huge review pile too. Truthfully I have no business getting more books in the mail. lol.

Bethany, the cookbooks are exciting a whole lot of people, including me. I’m such a food network junkie. It’s pathetic. lol.

Wendi, did you ever read The Friday Night Knitting Club-it was really good. This is the sequel.

Shana, you’re reading Sarah’s Key soon too, aren’t you? I’m going to try and fit that one in soon. I’ve got to reorganize my tbr books again-I’m fast running out of room.

Anna, it was busy. This week will be slower especially with Remembrance Day-no mail here.

Thanks for stopping by the ‘mailbox’ this week. I’ve had 1st Kate Jacobs book in my TBR pile forever. Now that ‘Knit Two’ is out I don’t know whether to read the 1st one or add the 2nd one to the TBR pile.

    Joanne, thanks 🙂

Marcia, lol. Might as well add the second one to the pile too. They’re really good though.
