Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia over at The Printed Page. It’s where we share with our blogging friends what showed up in our mailbox last week. I had a good week again but this should be slowing down soon as there is no where to put all these books anymore-lol.
Here’s my goodies from last week…
- Reading by Lightning by Joan Thomas (from Mini Book Expo)
- The House on Tradd Street by Karen White (very good deal at my bookstore)
- The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn by Robin Maxwell (another good deal that very same day as the other one)
- The Mighty Queens of Freeville by Amy Dickinson (from Hyperion)
- The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory (a very nice gesture from my friend Bookfan-Mary)
- Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips (from Valerie at Hachette)
How about you-anything good land up in your mailbox last week?
I also received The House on Tradd Street. The Boleyn Diary book looks interesting.
I really want to read the Other Queen.

Mari, I’m anxious to get to it too.
Naida, Gods Behaving Badly has definitely been making its rounds. I really like Gregory’s writing too.
Dawn, Bree, yes it was a great week. Now just to find the time to read them all. lol.
Luanne, I wouldn’t bet on that. I’m not going at a great rate of speed right now either. lol.
Kathy, it does sound good. I still have one other of hers to read too one of these days.
Shana, that’s the problem isn’t it? They all look good-lol. That’s how I end up with the piles of books everywhere.

You had the same thought I did…now did you officially sign up yet? I don’t see your post with reading goal! LOL
I still haven’t received my Reading by Lightning. I know it was you, me, and Serena who claimed it, and Serena has hers. I’m trying to be patient, but it’s a WWII book, you know. LOL
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Tradd Street. I loved that book!!
Happy reading!

J.Kaye-a stack is right but yes they are all good ones. lol.
Bonnie, I’ve wanted to read that Boleyn one for a long time. I was rearranging the book shelves today in the hopes of being able to stick in a few more books. Needless to say I have a bit more arranging to do yet.
Serena-you drill sargeant-lol. I signed up today. I already have another book to add. I think I’ll hold off a while though.
Anna, I laughed when I saw both of your names for that book. Should have known it would be the three of us if we could all get there first-thankfully there were 3 copies.
