TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
- Grab your current read.
- Let the book fall open to a random page.
- Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
- You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
- Please avoid spoilers!

Wow…My sister had a close call about a year ago now and I said pretty close to the same thing! I haven’t heard of this one either.
Thanks for the teaser!
This looks great! I really enjoyed A Complicated Kindness…have you read that one?
LOL – I don’t have a sister, but I’ve heard similar comments from friends!
Here’s my Teaser! It even includes a movie trailer for the book!
🙂 Wendi
Anna, I thought so too-seemed kind of attention getting anyway. lol.
Jo-Jo, those kinds of phone calls are just plain scary.
Jill, I haven’t read A Complicated Kindness yet but I want too, even more so after you saying you liked it.
Wendi, I’m still hitting up the blogs today. I’m slower than slow.
Wow! Now that’s a teaser.
How did I miss these on Tuesday?!
Corey Redekop (Shelf Monkey) did a great review of The Flying Troutmans at about the same time I was reading A Complicated Kindness so I’ve already got this one on my ’09 tbr list.
From the sound of your teaser, this one is every bit as interesting as my first Miriam Toews read.
Okay, that teaser, along with the title made me have to look that one up on Amazon.
Hey, did you change up your colors again? I like it!

Literarily
Wanda, I’ll definitely be picking up A Complicated Kindness after reading this one.
