Buddy Relaxing, The Snow Falling

January 9, 2009 by Darlene

I thought I’d share a pic of Buddy this afternoon relaxing on the couch being the boss of the house that he is. He got about as much done today as his mommy did which wasn’t much. Isn’t he the cutest giving me that look of his that says: Mommy I’m posing nicely for this picture, now where is that treat you were mentioning? Right after the picture taking, he ran in leaps and bounds to his treat cupboard. Oh well, he deserved it, he sat so nice.

Well it’s been a day of snowin’ and blowin’ here. It’s downright cold and miserable, most definitely an Albertan winter day. The snow is really starting to pile up already and there is some more on the way tonight. It’s supposed to warm up by the weekend so I sure hope that happens. Here’s a pic of our snowy world here right now. This is a view of my front street and most of my front yard and then looking across the street. It’s kind of gloomy looking because it was snowing! It’s most definitely a winter wonderland here.

That really is a great picture! Cute blanket underneath, too. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love evergreens laden with snow.

    Buddy is pretty adorable.

I feel your pain about the snow. We’re suppose to get 4-6 tomorrow night. I’m tired of winter!

That is the cutest picture ever–he looks like such a great little snuggler. Stay warm!! We’ve had really hit and miss weather here, although it feels silly to complain about it. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Buddy is adorable, Dar!
How I wish you could send some snow my way! It’s boring to have summer all the time. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Dar, Buddy is so cute – what a face! Made me smile.

We’re supposed to get snow over the next 24 hours but only totally up to 6 inches. And then the cold is coming by Monday or Tues. (maybe 20 below -real temp not WC – Fahrenheit). I’m ready for Spring already. Good weather to stay inside and read, right?

Our view is very similar here in Minnesota. Is it almost spring? ๐Ÿ™‚ Buddy looks happy though!

That pic of Buddy confirms that yes, dogs can smile for the camera! Love the tongue hanging out.

I love the snowy pic too. It’s so pretty and I bet quiet too.

What an adorable picture! Buddy is so cute and looks like he’s a little ham, lol. My Buddy is a Shiz Tzu and such a delight.
The snow picture is very pretty! We’ve had a bit of a snow break here, so all of ours it pretty much melted. Which is fine with me! lol

Oh gosh..look at that snuggly buggly guy. So handsome too. Give him extra treats from California! Having a guy like him around makes the snow not so bad. It is really beautiful Dar even though I know you are freezing your boodle off.

Dar ~ it’s snowing here, too. I am so tired of winter already. At least I made it up my driveway this evening, unlike some of the snow days last month…

Also, I wanted to let you know I’ve given you the Premio Dardos Award. Love reading here. =)

    What a cute pup!

It looks just like that outside of my front door, too. Ugh. I do like winter and it is a great season for reading, but I’ve had just about enough this year. Six more inches of snow tomorrow night!

It’s not gloomy Dar, it’s beautiful! I’d much rather your snow then all this freezing rain we’ve been getting in NS, I hate global warming. ๐Ÿ™

Great picture! I am still waiting for some snow this year. I understand your not being too fond of it, getting as much as you do; but we do not get that much, and I like it. I also am an English teacher—36 years.

What a cheeky looking dog – absolutely gorgeous. The snow photo is beautiful – I am jealous. In England we just have the freezing temperatures but no snow. I know it might be a pain to you if you get it all the time, but I would love some here.

Buddy is just adorable! What a great picture. The snowy picture does look beautiful. Although, I understand that it is much nicer looking at the snow than being out in it! We are in the midst of a snowstorm and have about 8 inches already and they expect up to 12 inches.

Thanks everyone on your sweet comments on Buddy. He loves the compliments-lol.

Kristina, there really is a street out there-lol. Somewhere…

For those who wished I could send them snow, I wish I could too.

Mary, that was perfect reading inside weather. However we got a break and had a nice day today-it was nice to be able to go outside and actually be able to breathe.

    Lezlie, Buddy loves the snow!

Jo-Jo, I'd love to see a pic of your Scarlett. I hope you remember to put one up soon.

Bandit, I'm pretty sure we're related too says Buddy.

Nymeth, the first snow in a decade-no wonder you're excited. Enjoy it!

Diana, if you're reading comments your contact on your webpage doesn't work. Use my contact button on the left of my blog to contact me.

Drey & Desert Rose, thanks for the awards. I posted about it today.

Wanda, I agree. I'd rather have snow than rain. We had a bit of freezing rain the other day. It causes nothing but havoc on the streets and sidewalks.

The Yothers & Scrap Girl, thanks for visiting. I hope you come again.

Bonnie, I hope you're doing ok in that storm. Stay safe.

Dawn, that is Buddy’s blankie. We put it out on the couch as he’s constantly jumping up on there up to the window and then laying on that cushion. It’s his spot.

Shana, thanks. If only Buddy would settle down long enough for cuddling. lol.
