I tried to buy “The English Patient” a week ago via Amazon.uk. But alas, I could not make them send any of the really cheap ones to Denmark 🙁
So I will have to wait.

It looks like you had a great reading month, Dar. I hope to read several of the books you got to this past month. I love P.D. James books and hopefully I’ll make more progress in her series one of these days. There’s just always too many books I want to read and never enough time to read them. I am sure you can relate. 🙂 Have a great week!

Wow. 10 is a very productive month! I usually find that January is a little tough to get started, after all that insanity of the holidays. Way to go!

Fantastic beginning to the year! I only did about half of what you read! There is no way I’m going to hit 100. What I like about the challenge, though, is that it gives me more of an incentive to read instead of play on the computer!

Dar, you have a great start to 2009 reading!

I have a question: How did you get the 3 column template? I don’t see one on the customize tab.

Great job! I always find Jan a hard month for reading but it seems everyone is doing terrific this year.

I loved your review of The King’s Rose, it sounds so good. And I was so excited when I saw your giveaway 🙂

    Lenore, thanks 🙂

Wanda-lol and thanks for the award. I’m going to get my post done in the next few days. I’ve fallen behind yet again.

Kathy, I sure could do with another novel like The School of Essential Ingredients-I loved it.

Wendy, I’m with you. There’s so many books I want to read and the problem is the list is increasing daily. I’d love to read more of the PD James series but then there’s all these others I need to read too. Sheeeeesh, the agony of it all. lol.

Lisa, I’ll be watching for you review of The School of Essential Ingredients. I hope you’ll like it.

Beth, Nymeth, Lezlie, Joy, Sandy, Mary, Melody, J.Kaye, Trish, Yvonne, Jennifer—10 books is good but I see others with so much more. Oh well, at least I enjoyed mine. I hope February is another good one too. So far I’m not off to a rip roaring start. lol.

Sam, I’ll be watching for a review of Coraline if you do pick it up from the library.

Linda J-that’s my problem. I need to quit blogging and read more.

Staci, I hope you enjoy The School. I’ll be watching for your review. Thanks for the award. I’ll be posting in the next few days. I’m behind again.

Dawn, this is the first time I did this wrap up. I’d seen it around and thought I should. I’m glad I did. Kind of puts the month into perspective.

Toni, you do savor more than me. Certain books make me stop and do that like Essential Ingredients but for the most part I just read and enjoy.

Nely, I think you’d like Essential Ingredients.

Serena, lol. You’re funny. You get lots of reading done along with your writing, etc. You’re a busy girl.

Joanne, I agree that sometimes it’s hard to get back into reading in January after the bustle of Christmas and all so I’m happy with what I did get done. Good luck on the giveaway.

I also plan on reading Coraline I love Neil Gaiman and kick myself for having waited so long to read that one. (okay I don’t really kick myself, wouldn’t want to hurt myself hehe)

    Happy reading!

Anna, with being sick this month, February isn’t turning into a good reading month. It’s sure going to set me behind on reading 100 books this year.
