Well I didn’t get as much read as I wanted with getting sick this past month but I still did pretty good. One of these books was 563 pgs worth of reading so really doesn’t that count as two~~lol.
- The Only True Genius in the Family by Jennie Nash (286 pgs)
- Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay (293 pgs)
- Grayrider by Bruce Skye (206 pgs)
- The Kingmaking by Helen Hollick (563 pgs)
- 10 Days Anne Frank by David Colber (144 pgs)
- Regina’s Closet by Diana M. Raab (166 pgs)
- The Mom Squad by Christine Weiser (284 pgs)
It’s hard to pick a favorite of these because I enjoyed them all however Sarah’s Key would top the list with The Kingmaking close behind.
Now I really need to get caught up on blog reading. Wow am I behind!
You put me to shame woman! That’s a lot of books this month! I’ve only read The Kingmaking out of your list, but it was on the top of my list too! I have an interview with her scheduled for tomorrow, so stop on by!
Very impressive reading list Dar! And I vote yes to the 563 page book counting as 2!!!
You did better than me! I thought I’d read a couple this week but no luck.
I ended up at a bookstore, too, this week but only bought one poetry book (and a Thomas the Train one for Kylie, who was with me.) Your list looks great and I loved the Guernsey one!
Have a great week!
You did great this month! Very impressive. I am three hefty books right now so progress is a bit slow but oh so satisfying.
Dar, you are a reading machine! I don’t know how you do it! I’ve enjoyed your reviews for February and have added a few to my TBR list! Have I mentioned how much I love your new blog look? Its so easy on my eyes! Good Job!
I read a ton of smaller books in February but it sounds like you did read some great ones 🙂
Lots of great books for the month of February, Dar. 🙂
Sarah’s Key is the only one I have read but the others sound interesting as well.
You did very well, Dar!
Let’s hope Mar will be another great reading month for all of us!
Since I’m planning to start the Kingmaking trilogy this month, I was pleased to see your high praise.
FANTASTIC list Dar…. good job.. I am going to have to try to see what I ended up with for Feb… I know it won’t be so impressive.
You did great 🙂 563 pages definitely counts as two books in my opinion lol

Dar, I’m impressed that you read this much when you were sick! I was sick for three weeks in Feb. and I didn’t get much reading done at all!
Thanks everyone for stopping by my Feb 2009 reads. I really need to get going on March or I’ll really be behind. lol.
Linda, I can’t wait to see your thoughts on The Kingmaking.
I think 7 books in one month is great, especially with one chunkster in there. Hope March is as good to you.
