Hours 3&4: Read-a-Thon Progress

  • Time Spent Reading: 30 mins thereabouts
  • Time Spent Blogging: about 90 mins because I was spammed
  • Blogs Visited: none-Sorry!
Ok, a very bad couple of hours. Had my shower which was great and thought I’d settle in to read but found I’d been spammed again. So, sorry but I’ve put comment verification on again. I hope it won’t keep anyone from commenting. I may take it off in a while here if I don’t see any more of those messages coming through on anyone’s blogs. Can’t blogger do anything about that idiot!

So, I only made it through 30 pages of Scattered Leaves. I’m unfortunately getting a headache too but hopefully I can head it off. The next 2 hours I’m going to focus only on reading and after that I’ll take a break to blog for a bit and play with the dog who is very busy sighing deeply on the bed and giving me puppy eyes.
Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Buddy appreciates all his encouragement too especially from Jill. LOL. I’m going to read Mistress of the Sun now for a bit. I wish it was warm enough to sit outside but it’s pretty nippy here today. Hopefully it’ll warm up later this afternoon.

  6. Oh no–I hope that headache stays away! I tend to get headaches if I read for long periods of time, but hopefully I won’t get one today. Poor Buddy–the nice thing about cats is that they sleep so much during the day that they probably look forward to these read-a-thons!

  8. it is SO hard to stay focused!! Just have fun, take it easy….it is not fun if you pressure yourself. I am having a hard time focusing right now too. I think I need some food. 🙂

  10. Uff. It doesn’t sound like it was your hour there. I’m sorry to hear about the spam. 🙁 And the headache! That’s got to be one of the most awful times to get a headache! I hope it’s gone away now at least!
