Quick Post as I’ve been MIA

June 29, 2009 by Darlene

Hi all, just wanted to post a quick note, in case you all have noticed that I haven’t been blog visiting or posting–but this past week I got hit with an awful migraine. It seemed to be getting better Friday but then returned with a vengeance again. I don’t feel too bad now except for really exhausted.

I missed a blog tour with TLC on Friday and I apologize again Lisa. I’ll be posting my review for Beach Trip by Cathy Holton tomorrow. What a great summer read! I haven’t been commenting on blogs at all and I checked my google reader which was at 1000+ posts. I must apologize to everyone but I’ll be marking those babies as read and starting over. That’s just too much to catch up on just yet.

Anyhow, I hope to up to normal again sometime this week. I’ve got a couple of giveaways to post here tonight and a review to write. I also have a few giveaways that I have to draw winners on and those I’ll do tomorrow sometime. I hope everything is well with everyone and I’ll be back to blog visiting soon!

Had a feeling you might be poorly. Poor you – hope you feel a lot better soon. I imagine it really brings you down,as you can't even read with a migraine.

Wow, I hope they stop and don't come back any time soon. I struggle w/ migraines & had a three month period where they just seemed to escalate. I figured out I had a sensitivity to food dye, such as red dye in my favorite Crystal Light drink. RANDOM! I hope you get them under control and are doing better!

Ach, you dear thing. I'm glad to hear you're feeling a little better and hope that trend's continued! (Although I'm guessing from having more posts of yours to read that this may be the case.)

Thanks everyone for the feel better wishes. That nasty migraine finally took it's leave, thank goodness!

    Lucy, thanks so much 🙂

mjmbecky, I steer clear of any food dyes. They will cause an automatic headache. There's just so many foods and other things that will trigger them.
