Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!).
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teasers for today are…
- “What if I hadn’t tossed aside my former life like it wasn’t a life preserver that I might one day need? What if I’d done it all differently when I had a chance? What if, what if, what if?” (Time of My Life by Allison Winn Scotch, pg 16)
How about you? Do you have any good teasers to share today? Leave me a comment with yours if you haven’t a blog or leave me your link if you’ve joined the fun and posted. Happy Tuesday everyone!
Interesting. I guess most of us ask that, sooner or later. Nice teasers!
I don't think I'd like to do that, but your teaser makes me think. read my teaser here
I love your teaser, has me very curious about the book (and not many do!).
I love your review of Mr. Darcy, Vampyre. I hadn't been even considering it before, but now I'm really curious. Horrible, aren't I?
I'm doing the Random Reading Challenge, too. I really like this one, seems more fun to me with all the randomness and all. 😉
Intriguing teaser. Looking forward to your thoughts.
Interesting teaser, I've definitely asked myself "what if".
Did you notice that buddy escaped and is visiting Musings of a Bookish Kitty! LOL
Too cute. I hope he doesn't get into trouble with Riley!
I love that teaser…how many times have we all gone through those What If scenarios?
Here are my teasers from Plaidy's "Red Rose of Anjou."
Born bastard son of John of Gaunt and Catherine Swynford he had been legitimized by his father and had enjoyed many honours.
Gloucester did not want peace in France. He still dreamed that he was going to win spectacular battles like Agincourt. He really believed he was a military genius like his brother. Even Bedford had not been that, great soldier though he had been and wise administator too. There was none to compare with Henry the Fifth.
Great teaser, Dar.

What ifs…the hardest questions in life. I know I have asked myself that hundreds of times. I wonder what the character does.
An interesting teaser – "what if?" is the hardest question in the world to answer.
My teaser is here.
Those moments where people consider the 'what ifs' of life are always a little sad or hard, I think. But they make for a great story! Thanks for sharing your teaser!
