Read-a-Thon: Up and At Em’

October 24, 2009 by Darlene

Morning all my fellow read-a-thon’ers and anyone else up at this early hour of the day. I couldn’t sleep so I’m laying in bed letting the dog sleep and getting started on my reading.

I’m starting with House of Reckoning by John Saul which I just couldn’t keep my beady little fingers off of when I was in the bookstore the other day. I figure it might be a good idea to read this one early in the day just in case it scares me. lol.

So, I’m nice and cozy. No picture because I’m still in my jammies and Buddy wouldn’t appreciate a flash of the camera this early in the day. I’ve got a steaming cup of coffee to get me going and I’ll be checking back about 8’ish or so after I feed the dog and get settled in again.

Good luck to all participating in the Read-a-Thon this time around! I’ll be by to do some visiting later in the morning.

oh, you're too funny with reading horror early in the morning. But there might be something to it. Good luck and I'll be seeing how it goes in a few hours.

Good luck with the readathon – I'll be cheerleading the next 12 hours 🙂 Or perhaps I'll divide it up a bit. Happy reading (and that book is on my wishlist btw)

    Enjoy your reading.

Jammies are the best! I can't read that type of book at night. Good choice to start with that one early. Stay comfy, Dar and happy reading. I'll be cheering you on.

I think you did fabulous! You MUST tell me what you think of House of Reckoning. It's one of the first books I'll be buying once my ban is over (the end of this week!)
