November 2009 Wrap Up

December 3, 2009 by Darlene

I figured I’d better get my wrap up done for November before I forget again. So here goes…

  1. Knit the Season by Kate Jacobs (272 pgs) (November)
  2. The House on Tradd Street by Karen White (352 pgs) (November)
  3. The Frozen Thames by Helen Humphreys (192 pgs) (November)
  4. The Peruke Maker by Ruby Dominguez (124 pgs) (November)
  5. Cleopatra’s Daughter by Michelle Moran (448 pgs) (November)
  6. After You by Julie Buxbaum (352 pgs) (November)
  7. Now & Then by Jacqueline Sheehan (400 pgs) (November)
  8. The Magic Warble by Victoria Simcox (276 pgs) (November)

I guess I did ok all things considering this month. As of the end of November I was at 99 books but I’ve got a couple reviews already for December and a few more to write so I’ve met my goal of 100+ for the year early! Yahooooooooooooooo for me!

My favorites were The House on Tradd Street, Cleopatra’s Daughter, After You and Now & Then. I can’t pick an absolute favorite as I really liked them all.

So, onward to December reading now. Wow, I can’t believe how fast another year has flown by. How is everyone else doing with their reading goals with the end of the year creeping up on us so quickly?

You've had a good month, considering how many other distractions you've had. Way to go on the 100 books!!! I'm pretty sure I hit my hundred, but I really need to go back and figure that out for sure.

You've done a great job with reading! My absolute favorite, maybe even the best I've read this year is Cleopatra's Daughter. It's wonderful!
    Happy reading in December!

Nice job reading and reviewing too! I almost never manage to review every book I read. Anyway, I haven't read any of the titles you have on the list but I did read another book by Moran and definitely enjoyed it so Cleopatra's Daughter is on my list.

Hey, eight books is still impressive, my friend. It's not about the numbers but the experience, anyway.
