Ok, one more challenge and I even have a reason for this one. I have 13 challenges I’ve committed to and I just can’t leave it at 13. So today, over at Naida’s blog, The Bookworm, I saw that she had joined a Tudor Challenge. Well that’s right up my alley and plus it can overlap with my Historical Fiction Challenge. Not to mention that the Tudor period is my absolute favorite.
The Tudor Book Challenge is being hosted by Benedictionary and you can check out all the details and join in here if you’d like. The challenge runs from January 1 to December 31, 2010.
There are many levels but I’m going for the Commoner level of reading 5 books. I think I’ll probably end up reading more but I’m playing it safe this year.
My dh and I love the Tudors tv series, the main actor is so talented. I have read two Philippa Gregory's novels and will check out the reading challenge.
Thank you for pointing me in that direction.
good luck with your challenge! 🙂
Looks like a fun one, Dar! I'm tempted to join, but I think I'm overcommitted as it is! Good luck!
Good luck, Dar!
Playing it safe can be a good thing. I tend to bite off more than I can chew with challenges.
Thanks for the luck everyone. I'll need it with all the challenges I joined.
Good luck with the challenge!
This seems like a great challenge! I love The Tudors t.v. show and have to agree with you that this is one of my favorite subjects to read about. I think I am going to have to check out more about this challenge!! Thanks so much for posting this!!
