February 2010 Wrap Up

March 19, 2010 by Darlene

Yes, I am very late with this – I’m still catching up. lol. Let’s see, what did I end up reading in February. Not much as you will see. I’m really going to have to pick up my socks if I want to make a 100 books before the end of this year. It’s not looking good so far.

  1. Keeping the Feast by Paula Butturini (272 pages – February)
  2. Catch of a Lifetime by Judi Fennell (384 pages – February)
  3. Talking to the Dead by Bonnie Grove (384 pages – February)
  4. The Weight of Heaven by Thrity Umrigar (384 pages – February)
  5. The Bride Collector by Ted Dekker (448 pages – February)
  6. Specials by Scott Westerfeld (400 pages – February)
  7. Reasons by Tracy Fabre (224 pages – February)
  8. Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich (audio book – February)

So, only 8 books – not great. My favorites were Keeping the Feast and Talking to the Dead. I didn’t really have a least favorite – they were all pretty good. Well I certainly hope March will be better but I think I’m only at 6 books so far for March although one was a biggie.

I think you have made an impressive dent in the total 100.
    Steady as she goes.

Hope you and Buddy had a beautiful day. It was sunny here, rain/snow coming back tomorrow.

I also managed 8 in February, so you are doing great.

I'm also trying to hit 100 this year, but I don't think I am going to make it. I think I am at 16 so far.

That's a very good number! I am far from that – February was a bad book month. 🙂

My February was a bit slowest that I had hoped it to be, too (9 books), so I understand what you mean. But, you read some big books, too! I'm thinking next year I might fix a goal in number of pages instead of a number of books to read.
