Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all having a nice Sunday so far. It’s still fairly early here so I’m still working on a cup of coffee. It’s a nice day here again. We’ve been very lucky here as March has been a very nice month. Let’s see now if it goes out like a lion. It’s a little cool out and is supposed to stay that way throughout the week but at least we have no snow and none coming and that’s all I care about. You can finally see our grass in the backyard although it’s brown and ugly right now.
I don’t have much planned today other than to get some books packed up and out to the people who are waiting for them. With not feeling well, trips to the post office have gone on the back burner. I’ve also got 3 reviews to write for this week. I’m not sure I’ll be able to get them all written today but I’m going to try.
What am I reading? Today I’m starting Love in Mid Air by Kim Wright for a blog tour with Hachette. I’m also reading Sugar by Bernice McFadden and Magnolia Wednesdays by Wendy Wax and really enjoying those two. This morning I finished The Stolen Crown by Susan Higginbotham – yet another fantastic novel by her – I really enjoyed it!
On the medical front, no results yet. It’ll be only 7 working days this week so I’m thinking my doctor should have them shortly. I hate the waiting but it seems to be that way for many here. You’re either waiting for results or waiting for something to be done. I’m still trying not to worry but worry is my middle name so that’s not going over really well.
Last but not least I have a picture of the Budster. As usual he’s not doing anything exciting other than staring at me which is his full time profession lately. I don’t know whether it’s age or what but he’s starting to act weird. His newest thing is he doesn’t want to eat in the morning. Then when he decides he does want to eat I have to get down there and feed it to him. It’s driving me crazy.
So what is everyone up to today? Are you all relaxing or doing something with your families? Getting some reading in? If so, what are you reading? I love hearing what everyone else is reading although it’s not always good for my wishlist. Whatever you’re doing I hope you’re having a good day.
I’d like to say a thank you to those who have been so supportive this last bit and emailed me good wishes and such – it’s amazing to me the great people and the friends I’ve met here and I’m thankful!
Have a great Sunday everybody!
Just me, dropping in to say hi.
I've been thinking about you a lot and I keep praying that you've gotten some good news. Waiting is so frustrating. Take care of yourself and give Buddy a little squeeze for me.
Beautiful weather here in N.S. too! I can't get over the March we're having, more like April really. I've got two books on the go which isn't at all like me, evenings see me sitting down with Zan-Gah and the Beautiful Country and I picked up The Paperboy's Winter from the libray this week and couldn't resist starting it.
Animals are funny, maybe Buddy can sense that your worrying and wants your undivided attention. As far as the waiting goes, hang in there Dar!
I do hope your results come back OK. Am thinkig of you at the moment. It seems funny, that you are talking about morning, just a couple of hurs ago and I am now preparing my kids for bed.
We have spent the day clothes shopping. Not fun, when you have two fussy children.
I don't know about you but I hate it when I'm not 100%. It must be so frustrating for you. Hopefully, you'll get good results this week.
Love that photo of Buddy! My son had a grilfriend whith a black dog and it was so hard to get good pictures of her. You did a great job!
Hang in there!
Sorry to hear you're still waiting for the results. Waiting and wondering is the worst.
As far as Buddy goes, I wouldn't be too worried about his food. Coop often doesn't touch his food until the evening and I put it out in the morning. He eats when he gets hungry.
Sounds like a very nice comfy morning. And with Buddy as a companion it has to be!
I've read some good things about "Sugar".
Hope you get your results soon.
Have a good week!
Come Visit my blog…You won an award! 🙂

I am glad you are enjoying nice weather, Darlene. Hopefully the snow will stay away.
I'm trying to catch up on my blog reading today. I spent yesterday reading, so I figure I'm due for some computer time. I don't have a post ready for tomorrow so am not sure whether to try and write a movie review or just pretend I meant not to post. LOL
I hope the medical results come back favorably. The waiting can be one of the worst parts.
Buddy is as adorable as ever. 🙂
I'm thinking of you, Darlene, and wishing you the best.
Darlene just stopping in to say keep trucking.. I am just sitting finishing up some of my own blog stuff and saw your post pop up so wanted to say you and Buddy are in my thoughts! I have to say your little monkey sounds like mine, my 11 year old Chihuahua has become so bad about it that meal time means Mom has to "cheer" as he eats because he has gotten nuts in the last year about eating… If I do not sit with him with each meal and tell him what a wonderful job he is doing and what a good boy he is and hold the darn plate of food, his royal pain will not eat and will starve himself all day long!!!
I know what part of the problem with him is, his teeth are trying to go bad and sometimes his dry food pains his gums. He also has days where his intestinal tract is gurgling and rolling and he is scared of his abdominal sounds and will not eat until they stop, if they do that day!!!
Good luck with your tests and think positively!!

Waiting for test results is definitely no fun. I hope you have a good weekend anyway, and that the test results will come back soon with good results.
It's been beautiful here too lately Dar.
As for Buddy, I'm guessing his new eating style, is just another way of him showing you who the boss is around your home…LOL (Our cats want to drink out of faucets –i ignore them, but my husband caters to their every whim.
Awww, cute Buddy. I hope everythning works out for you on the medical front. that's so stressful, all that waiting. take care! 🙂
I'm sending good vibes your way and I hope the result will be OK, Dar!
As always, Buddy is adorable!
I'll be praying for you, Dar. Please take care and send my love to Buddy too. 😀
Hope you feel better soon.
Waiting is hard – I'm still sending good thought and prayers your way. Hopefully the results will come soon.
Thinking of you this week and praying for good results! The waiting is the hardest thing. Take care!
I am keeping you in my prayers. The waiting is terrible. Hang in there. So glad you have Buddy to help comfort you. Pets are some of the best medicine!
Buddy! You should be extra nice to Dar these days, as she's not feeling well and is a little anxious. Cuddles, not demands, are in order!
I hope the results are positive ones. I'm stilling thinking positive thoughts for you. Buddy is a character that's for sure. Charlee hasn't gotten that bad, but he had gone through bouts where he wants to be picked up and carried down the stairs to the grass. LOL
Do you think that Buddy is feeling your worry and he's worrying a bit, too? I know that sounds crazy, but I've actually heard of dogs doing that. They're so attuned to their people!
