This is What Happens When you Brag about Your Nice Weather Too Soon!

March 22, 2010 by Darlene

I should have known yesterday when I was going off at the mouth about how nice it had been here and how there wasn’t supposed to be any snow…that it would SNOW! It started with rain last night and worked itself into snow and it’s still snowing on and off and is supposed to keep doing that. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrg, I should have kept quiet! LOL.

Here’s a couple of pictures of the snow right now. You see those little white dots in the picture – that’s the snow falling. I wish it came through clearer. If you click on the picture, it will enlarge and you can see the snow flakes. It’s just falling like a sheet. Buddy and I tried walking this morning but that didn’t go over very well on the icy walks. And we had just gotten rid of most of our snow! Not so anymore! The pictures are dark cause it’s that gloomy out right now…

I've been whining because our spring weather is gone, but at least we didn't get any precipitation.

What a bummer…. grab a book quick! Hide in the pages of somewhere warm…. go on a cruise, solve a crime in Hawaii…. surf the waves of California….

We must have been in the same storm front. It snowed all day yesterday and into the night although this morning it was just a dusting its gone now.

Dying for the nicer weather here.

Oh, sorry for the snow – it is still pretty to see, though. We had a great weekend here and today brought rain and tomorrow will bring more. But summer IS coming!

You must be so tired of snow, and just when you thought there was some hope that spring would stay.

Oh no! More snow! It has been a really weird winter this year, and nothing seems predictable. I hope it warms up soon for you!

Hope it melted back off there as fast as our last snow did. But when you live in the areas that we do, you do get used to that last blast of winter. Doesn't mean we have to like it, though, does it?!

Hey Dar!! It's been a while–I love your header!

And LOL to this post–the same thing happened to me. I posted about our gorgeous spring one day and two days later we had snow (last weekend).

PS. I am trying to get back into blogging–but mostly on a personal level right now. If you're interested I'm at http://lovelaughterinsanity.blogspot.com Actually thinking about ending the book blog.

Hope all is well with you! Hugs!!
