As you all know by now I’m making my own challenges this year – the first will be my Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling) Challenge. I’ve wanted to reread the books for ages and this is the year I’m going to do it. As I read them I’ll add my links below. If anyone cares to join me, you’re more than welcome – just let me know. This challenge will run from January 1 – December 31, 2011.
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Wish me luck!

I wish I had the books, I would love to revisit them too 🙂
That's such a great idea! I absolutely adored these books, and although I've only read them in Hungarian, they're my favorite!
I'm currently working on saving up money to buy the series in English and re-read 🙂 (I have the e-books, but that's just not the same as holding the actual book)
This should be lots of fun!
Enjoy! Byt the way, I love these kind of cartoony covers – cute.
This is a great challenge. I have the books. My 13 year old loves the series. I have not read every book, but enough to know that I too like the series, and that I should read every book.
Do you have an idea on your timetable for reading this books?
I have not seen those covers before! I listened to the series from the library. I haven't even seen all the movies. I did see "harry" on masterpiece last weekend in "my boy jack". Those kids have grown up so fast!
I want to read these again too! I may have to join in!
What a coincidence! For my personal 2011 must-reads, I am reading all the books (re-reading Book 1 to 4) this year so yes, I'll hop onto the bandwagon for this one. Count me in!
I know I will re-read Deathly Hallows before the final movie debuts in July, but I may pass on the others, not because I don't adore them, but because I want to concentrate on reading new books this year–my TBR mountain is way too high LOL
They are all awesome–are these the U.K. covers? I've not seen these before…
How are you doing on this one? I read 1 and 2 on Friday!! Had to go buy 3 because I loaned it to someone. Loving these the second time around!
