Good morning everyone! How are you all this morning? Awake I hope. lol. Not too much planned here today. I have to finish up a book for review tomorrow, maybe tackle some laundry and take Sam for a walk at some point.
It is finally getting warmer out! Not warm enough for no coat but still much nicer than we’ve seen in ages. The snow is slowly starting to melt and if we get some really nice weather next week a lot of the snow piles should shrink down. My back yard is going to be awful though because there is just so much snow back there that it’s unreal. It’s going to be one big puddle! We should have a really nice garden this year with all that moisture though.
Well it won’t be too busy of a week at the blog but busy enough. Here’s the scoop…
Tuesday – Teaser Tuesday I imagine.
Wednesday – Guest Post/Giveaway of Bound by Guild by author C.J. Darlington
Thursday – Yikes, who knows at this point.
Friday – Review of Staying at Daisy’s by Jill Mansell. I’m so excited to start this book.
I hope you’ll join me this week with all the stuff I have planned. Do you have anything special planned on your blog this week?
Let’s see – oh we’d better talk about Sammy. I had him at the vet again because he wanted to check his tummy before we book him in for neutering. It’s still a little iffy. He’s pretty sure it’s his diet so we’re trying to change it although it’s not going over well. When Sam started teething I would put hamburger in with his food so he’d eat. Well it’s not so bad if you only use a bit but anyone with dogs knows that as soon as you use some, they always want more. So now I find out that’s really not healthy for puppies so we must stop altogether because Sam will never be satisfied with only a little bit. Ugggggh, so now it’s a battle to get him to eat because it’s not what he wants. I’m going to pop out tomorrow and get a new dry dog food as the vet suggested and try that. I brought one home from the vet’s but Sam puts a piece in his mouth and spits it out just like a baby does when they don’t want something. It’s hilarious. Obviously he is not at all interested in eating it. lol. So that’s my Sammy news this week. Hopefully quitting the meat or seriously cutting it down will straighten out his tummy in a few weeks.
So, I do have a few pictures for you, enjoy…
That’s all for me today folks. Did you do anything exciting this weekend? Read anything good? Hope you all have a good week and I’ll chat with you all on your blogs at some point.

Awwww…that last picture of Sammy is the absolute cutest!!! I'm working on breaking my youngest son of his pacifier habit so I kinda know what you are going through…LOL! He is having it especially at night time. It has become a work in progress for us. Hope you have a great week of reading!
It is nice to see warmer temps. It was 68 on Friday, but back to 50s yesterday. Despite this Spring weather will be here permanently soon..it appears 🙂
Sammy appears to be a handful! Have a great week Dar.
Dar, I'm surprised you're not more fun than that! LOL Sammy is just adorable and I can tell he rules the roost around there.
Every time I see your posts I want to get a dog!!!
Those are such great pictures!
Nothing special for me this weekend. I'm trying to finish a review book (it would help if I stopped blogging for a few hours – LOL)
Have a great Sunday and a great week!
I love it! While having a lapse of boredom this week the kid made Cooper a facebook page. Seems that our 2 guys have similiar thoughts. Have a great week!
Wish I could divert our 85 degrees up your way to melt your snow. You need a break at this point! I can't wait to see your review for The Postmistress. And as you know, we have our own tummy issues going on down here with Rufus, so I wish you well on that matter. Have a great Sunday Dar!
I'm going to have to stop reading these posts about Sammy because it's making me want another dog! My gosh, he's so adorable! I like how you have him narrate the photos!
We've still got plenty of snow here, too, but it's slowly melting. Although it was 8 degrees when I got up this morning!
Have a good week!
I've decided that warm is relative to whatever you're used to 🙂 We had temps in the 50s the last few days so our snow is GONE! But since I live in the north I know that spring snow storms are the norm so I'm not putting my boots or winter coats away.
Good luck with Sammy's food issues. I hope the new food will make him forget about the hamburger.
I look forward to your reviews this week. Have a nice Sunday, Dar!
Wishing you some of our warm weather. Only March and we're already too toasty here. I hope you're able to get Sammy's diet regulated. We've tried really hard to keep our dog eating just dog food but she'll snap up anything that falls on the floor in a heartbeat!
Have a lovely rest of your Sunday!!
LOL! I adore Sammy … could he possibly be any curer? NO!
It's raining here so I'm working on my new novel and enjoying the quiet time with my kitties.
Have a nice day, Dar. And give Sammy a squeeze from me!
Stopping by to say hello to you and Sammy. He is a riot pulling your socks off! lol
Its getting warmer here too…finally. Enjoy your week 🙂
Awww Sammy, you are such a cutie 😀
I hope you get him to eat the right food
Love stopping by and getting my puppy fix! We have rain here the first day of Spring, but it will help get rid of the snow piles!
It's like spring here in eastern Ontario today but we expect 10 cm of SNOW tomorrow. Can you believe that? The only saving grace is that it will melt fast because of the time of year.
Boy, that Sammy is a cutie!
Hoe could you be upset with a cute little furry face like that?! Hope the snow melts quickly and the weather stays nice for you up there. Have a fab week Darlene 🙂
I love the Sammy posts! And I hope that little cutie gets use to his new food!
I hope Sammy gets his appetite back soon. And I'm glad the weather is getting warmer over there!
Ha!! He needs a new name…Sammy Sock Stealer!!
It's getting warmer here too and with that brings a ton of mud!! Right now it's raining and the dogs just went out..they'll be lovely when the come back!!
I'm hoping to get 3 books read and reviewed this week…wish me luck!
Good to hear that spring is making it's way towards you, my friend!
I know about the doggie eating problems too. When my Lilly developed allergies, I had to start feeding her rabbit of all things! I had to buy it fresh and cook it, and it really was sort of a stinky meat to deal with. She got so used to it that she wouldn't eat anything else, which was a problem for a time, but she did grow out of it, and is eating normal food now just fine!
I hope you have a wonderful week out there and that things continue to thaw out!
I would like to try a Jill Mansell book – I thin they look good!
Sammie's so cute! I hope you get the food situation worked out.
He is quite adorable. I hope that his stomach calms down.
Sammy is so cute! That last picture is money!
