Hi everyone. Happy Sunday and Sammy slurps to you all! Congrats to you all on winning your books this weekend. I’m off to get into some trouble now with this oven mitt.
Happy Sunday everyone! What has everyone been up to this weekend? Is anyone all done with their Christmas decorating and shopping? Well I’m not. Not even close. For all my big talk my tree still isn’t up and I’m not done shopping. Anyhow, the box with the tree is out so I think the tree may actually go up today. Wish me luck! I’m sure Sammy is going to be more than interested in what we’ll be doing. Which reminds me we decided to put the tree up on the table yet this year. I don’t trust Sam not to eat the decorations or grab a piece of the garland and pull it like he does with my socks. LOL.
Not much going on with my reading. I’m getting by but I’m glad I didn’t book much for December because with battling the flu and other things I’m not keeping up. Plus I’m still so tired at night. Before I can even think of settling in with my book I’m already falling asleep. It’s too bad I can’t stay sleeping though. Maybe I should just get up at 3am and do my reading since I’m awake anyhow. So for today the plan is to take Sam for one of his walks, get him fed, hopefully get some decorating done, and then I want to read. At least for a while. Ooooh, I also have to get a package ready to go out which, of course, I don’t have ready. Sorry to the person it’s going to and they know who they are. lol.
Ok, now for some winners this weekend…

Congrats to you all! I hope you’ll all enjoy your wins. Well that’s all for me. I hope to be back next week with some pictures of Sammy for you. Have a great day everyone!
Congrats to the winners! Sammy is adorable. It’s been hard for me to read much as well. Too busy with holiday stuff! 🙂
Congrats to the winners! Have fun decorating. I’m way behind as well this year. I understand not feeling well and not sleeping too great, same here. I hope to get back to blogging but am taking a break. Hope you feel better and have a wonderful holiday! Hope to hear from you sometime soon…miss you!
I wonder what it is about socks and dogs, even the used socks! Cooper loves to steal them too. Hope you feel all better soon. 🙂
Happy Sunday to you and little Sammy, Dar! I hope you get your energy back soon. I know how draining the flu can be.
I hope you feel better soon! The flu can be so bad and the strength just go right out of you. I feel you, I have had this infection for a month now and the meds did not work the first time around
Thanks for the Chapters e-giftcard! I will definitely enjoy putting it to good use 🙂
I hope you are feeling yourself again soon!
Decorating is finished here, but my gift wrapping and Christmas cookie baking are not. I’d love to spend the afternoon reading, but I think I’ll be baking instead.
Congrats to the winners. I did not get to my tree yet either.
I hope you’re feeling better soon, Dar! Does Sammy cozy up to you when you’re not feeling well or does he still want you to play and things, unaware that you aren’t feeling like yourself?!
Like you, I’m under the weather although I don’t have the flu. I also have problems staying awake at night to read. I feel tired early in the night and it seems once I hope a book and start to read I fall asleep. So I can commiserate with you.
Have fun decorating for Christmas! It sounds like a good idea to put your tree on a table, out of Sammy’s reach!
I hope you have a nice Sunday, Dar :o)
Ugh! The Flu? Well, that sucks!
I hope you get over it soon so you can get to that Christmas shopping!
Here’s sending some Christmas love your way!!!
Hi Dar…sorry I haven’t been around for a bit. Sorry u have had the flu:( Buddy looks as cute as ever!
Congrats to all of the winners
Dar, I hope you feel better. It seems almost everyone I know has had the flu or a terrible cold, etc. I didn’t schedule much for this month either. I’m kind of stalled with reading – there just seems to be so many other things that need my attention. Tis the season, right? Good idea to put the tree on a table, lol.
Sorry to hear that you haven’t been feeling well! I’ve been struggling to find time to read as well but ’tis the holiday season :O) Hope you have a great week!
HI Darlene, nope – Christmas shopping has not really began and the tree is not up…. sorry you have not been feeling well.
Congratulations to the winners and isn’t Sammy just adorable!
Congrats to all the winners 🙂
Hope Sammy had fun helping you decorate, lol.
We did some Christmas shopping yesterday; I’m nearly finished, just a few things to pick up for my daughter and I have to think of one more thing for my husband.
I hope that you are feeling better Darlene; I know you’ve had alot going on 🙁
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
Don’t feel bad Dar, my tree has been sitting bound up in the backyard for a week, and I am not exactly sure when we will have the time to decorate it! It’s going to be Christmas soon, and we haven’t gotten anything done yet! I hope that your bug goes away soon, as there is nothing as miserable as being sick during the holidays. I will be thinking of you and hoping that you are well soon! Would love to talk sometime soon as well, so give me a call!
I cannot even read in bed. I get the blankets all pulled up the way I like them, open the book and then nod off. Every time!!
I really want to get some posts scheduled so I can take a break from the blog for a bit. I have the books read, but the review mojo has left the building.
Wow! Lots going on and health issues. Do what you can when you can.
Congrats winners!
Hope you’re feeling better Dar. The flu can really knock the stuffing out of you. 3 AM is when I’m usually awake too. Sheesh!
I’m a bit behind on my blog reading!! Did you get the tree up? And I hope that Sammy didn’t figure out a way to get to it so he could gobble an ornament!! I hope that you start to feel better Dar!!
Congrats to the winners! Sammy is cute, as always. Our dog has actually been leaving the tree alone this year, unlike years past.
Congrats to the winners!
Hope you’re feeling better soon. December has come and go so quickly it blows the mind. just do what you can and don’t sweat the rest 🙂
Pets from me to Sammy.
