Yup, as you can see I am very busy with my sock in my mouth but I thought I’d stop by and say Happy Sunday and Congrats to all you book winners!
Good evening everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was ok. I did manage to get some reading done despite one of my famed migraines. What I wouldn’t give to be migraine free some day. Otherwise not too much has been going on. Our weather was absolutely beautiful today despite the last few days being really cold. So, I don’t often do this but at my doc appt a lump was discovered in my breast and I know a lot of you pray and believe in the power of prayer so I’m asking you to send up a few for me. My appt is on the 23rd for a mammo and ultrasound and I’m just praying to come home with good news. I’d feel a lot better knowing my friends were praying for me too.
This next week is busy on the blog again – all of February is. What’s up…
Monday – Review/Giveaway of Sonoma Rose by Jennifer Chiaverini
Tuesday – Book Spotlight/Giveaway of Day of Honey by Annia Ciezadlo (I can’t wait to read this one!)
Wednesday – Review of Paris, My Sweet by Amy Thomas
Thursday – Review of The Night Strangers by Chris Bohjalian
Friday – Review/Giveaway of By the King’s Design by Christine Trent (I haven’t started yet but I am so looking forward to reading some historical fiction finally!)
So, another busy week. I have no Sammy stories this week or at least none I can remember right now but I do have some book winners for you…
A Demon Does it Better by Linda Wisdom — Serena
Food Allergy and Gluten-Free Weight Loss by Nicolette M. Dumke — Marie
The Night Sky by Maria Sutton — Nancye D
Senseless & Merciless by Mary Burton — Linda B
That’s it for tonight folks. Let me know what you did this weekend – anything good? I hope you all have a fantastic week and I hope to do a better job of blog visiting this week than I managed last week. Sammy sends slurps to all his fans (sorry for only one picture – I’ll have more for you next weekend). Take care everyone!
I’ll be praying for you, Dar. I think odds are you will come home with good news, but I’ll pray for insurance. I’m sending hugs your way.
Lots of prayers are headed your way, honey! I know it’s scary; I’ve gone through it twice and both times those lumps ended up being nothing to worry about. I’ll send up extra good thoughts that everything turns out just fine.
Big hugs to you and little Sammy! xoxo
Absolutely, Darlene … prayers and all good thoughts coming your way! As for the migraines, I suffer from them too. Perhaps you’ve already tried this, but have you talked to your doctor about Topamax and Maxalt? I’m on both of those, and they’ve been a complete game-changer for me as far as my headaches go. (It wasn’t unusual for me to have a migraine for 3 days a time at least 1-2x per month before going on that.)
Hang in there Doll. Hugs for you & Sammy
Hahaha that is so funny – Sammy and his socks (or I should say your socks).
And I will certainly be praying for your mammogram! Good luck girl! Love you!
Dar, prayers and good thoughts heading your way. A hug too.
The pic and caption of Sammy made me LOL.
You will definitely be in my prayers Darlene! I think the fear of the unknown is the scariest!
I love seeing Sammy-even if he is being naughty.
Dar, you got it. I hope this lump is nothing more than a simple cyst. I am praying for you. Please keep us posted.
I’ll definitely be praying for you.
Yikes, I do pray so I’ll be happy to pray for you. My mom has a follow up the same day oddly enough.
Congrats to all the book winners!
I’ll be thinking of you
Dar, you know my prayers and my thoughts are with you, and that I am wishing for good news for you. I have been thinking of you and wishing you well over there. I think we need a chat soon.
Saying prayers for you. I’m sure that is really scary but don’t start worrying as it might not be anything to worry about. I had the same thing happen to me and it turned out to be nothing.
Sammy is so cute!
Thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way. I had a lump when I was twenty one, had it removed, and never had any other problems. I got a kick out of Sammy getting caught in the act!
Hugs and prayers are coming your way, Dar! Not knowing and the waiting are hard! Hang in there.
That Sammy is too cute with his sock in his mouth!
I’ll send some prayers your way Dar. I know it’s hard but try not to worry. The same thing happened to me a few years ago, and it turned out to be nothing.
Sammy is too cute 😉
Dar, you will be in my prayers for sure!!! How scary…please let us know if you need anything and keep us updated. Hopefully you will find out some good news soon!!! Prayers.
