Happy Sunday everyone! Yup, I’m still King of the Castle as you can see.
Happy Sunday to you all. I hope you all had a great weekend. Unfortunately a new week is about to start and it’s back to work and all that other good stuff. I didn’t do much this weekend as it was pouring for the majority of it and the wind is blowing so hard even I can’t believe it already. It’s time for us to have some summer weather already! So what about the rest of you – what’s the weather like? Did you do anything great this weekend or laze around like me?
I don’t have much planned for the week. Sam gets his hair cut on Tuesday and I’ve got to get my Dad’s Father’s Day and birthday presents as those are both coming up very quickly. Thank you again for all your thoughts and prayers for him. I’m pretty sure I mentioned before that he has heart problems and recently they have become worse so I really appreciate the prayers and please keep them coming.
On the reading front I just finished Lord of the Black Isle by Elaine Coffman and my review of that will be up tomorrow. I’m starting Picture This by Jacqueline Sheehan tonight and I’m excited to read it as I read Now & Then by her and really loved it plus it’s hard not to love a book that has a cute picture of a dog on it as all of her books do. What’s everyone else reading? Anything good?
Mommy says to draw for book winners for you tonight so here I am. Gosh, the things a puppy has to do! Mommy missed last week and says she’s sorry. Here you go – boy I had some trouble figuring out that random.org thingie mommy said to use though …
I Am Forbidden by Anouk Markovits — mamabunny13
Ten Beach Road by Wendy Wax — Anita Y
The Book Lover by Maryann McFadden — Nancye D, Sherry L, and Heather S
The Exceptionals by Erin Cashman — mamabunny13
After the Fog by Kathleen Shoop — Serena from Savvy Verse & Wit (you sure have been lucky lately – maybe it’s time for a lottery ticket – lo)
So Far Away by Meg Mitchell Moore — Lilian from A Novel Toybox
That’s it. I hope you’ll all enjoy your books. On another note I still have some books to send out to a few people – I apologize that they haven’t arrived yet. Things have been a bit crazy here but they are coming.
I hope you all have a great week ahead!
Congrats to the other winners. I must be having a run of luck, too bad it never does work with lottery tickets. LOL I hope all is well with your dad. Hi, Sammy!
Aww, Sammy is such a cutie! Hi Dar! Just stopping into say hi. Hoping you are doing well and so is Sammy.
Congratulations to the winners!
Congrats to all the winners! Sending good luck to Sammy for his haircut 🙂 I hope you get the summer weather soon.
I find it hard to resist a cover with a dog on it!
Sammy is so smart! Congratulations to all the lucky winners! The weather is cool here too – it was 75 and rainy yesterday.
Sammy is so darn sweet to share this news with us! Congrats to the winners!
I am gonna read that highlander book soon too :=D
Thanks bunches for letting me know Sammy! 😀 *giggles
Hi Sammy–Romeo says “woof” and good luck with the haircut. He got his summer cut last week and is nice and smooth and easy to brush (except for his fluffy tail and ears). Tell your mommy we are thinking of her dad and sending hugs her way.
What a talented boy Mr. Sammy is! 😉 I hope your dad starts feeling better soon. How stressful for all of you. *Hugs*
He is adorable. Maybe you should send his head shot into the book people to be used on someone’s cover!!??? LOL!!
Congrats to the winners. Will definitely keep your dad in my prayers. Enjoy your haircut Sammy!
Congratulations to all the winners! Enjoy your books and Happy Reading!
I wish I had Serena’s luck on your blog! You give away so many great books but even if I’m not winning, I’m getting a great list of books to read in the future!
The 2nd pic of Sammy where he’s ready to pick some winners is just precious, Dar. He looks so earnest and sweet. It must be so hard to say no to him or leave him home when you go out!
I’m so sorry to read that your dad’s heart problems have worsened. I’ll keep your dad, you and the rest of your family in my prayers and thoughts, Dar. Hang in there :o)
A great job Sammy!
