Happy Sunday everyone! What’s everyone up to this weekend? I decided to get caught up on some housework that I’ve been diligently ignoring but sooner or later it must be done. Of course I’ve been reading and trying to catch up on The Bachelor episodes as well as The Biggest Loser. I’m still hopelessly addicted to those shows. lol. Our weather has been pretty good actually other than the snow we got yesterday. It warmed up so at least it’s pleasant to go outside although lately you take your life into your hands going for walks as it’s so icy. Still I hope we have no more cold snaps until spring manages to arrive!
On the reading front I’m finishing up The Sign of the Weeping Virgin by Alana White as well as reading The Thwarted Queen by Cynthia Sally Haggard and Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys for review this week. I’ve been so lucky with books lately as they’ve all been quite good. I’ve also got a couple of book spotlights with giveaways to round out the week so I hope you’ll all pop in to check it out. What about you all – what are you reading?
And then we have Sam and the snow once again this week. With it being warmer outside he’s really enjoying himself playing in his snowbanks so those are the pictures you’re going to get once again. Sorry about the lighting on them but our backyard doesn’t get the sun in the winter unfortunately. In the house all he does is lay in his bed and sleep or sit on the couch and bark. lol. Enjoy…
I make it my puppy mission to annoy mommy as much as I can so I rub myself in the snow every chance I get on our walks. It’s especially fun when I stop and she isn’t expecting it.
There is nothing more fun than having a bath in the snow! Way more fun than when mommy throws me in that awful tub.
Hmmmmmm, there must be something down in here…
Shucks! I couldn’t find a thing in that snowbank.
Yum! I love the snow but not so much when it’s frozen to my snoot!
I hope you’ve all enjoyed Sammy this week. Maybe I can manage to persuade him to do something more exciting next week. Have a great week!
Hi Dar! I haven’t stopped by in awhile but and I thought It was high time! I hope you are well. Sam is adorable in the snow! Take care and enjoy your Sunday!
Hi Darlene, I just had to tell you how cute Sammy is in the snow. He is so cute no matter what he’s doing. I look forward to your blog and to the photos of Sammy. Take care.
Haha, messy Sammy! You’re so cute. I bet mommy loves getting the frozen snow off of your face.
LOL … I just love your Sunday with Sammy posts! They always make me smile.
Please say hello to your dad from me! Have a great week, Dar. And be careful on all that ice!
Glad to hear it’s warming up a bit. You had some pretty arctic temps there for a while. Take care and enjoy your Sunday. {{{Hugs}}}
Sammy is so cute! He seems to really enjoy playing in the snow.
Your puppy is so cute! =)
I enjoyed the pictures.
Sammy sure seems to enjoy the snow — cute. have a good week Dar.
Aww, I love that little snowy face! Way too cute!
Omg, my pup Dakota is a snowdog too! He has the shortest little legs, but he does his best to run through the snow. Your Sam is too cute.
I feel the same way about housework 🙂 I’m glad someone likes the snow! And you’ll never lose Sam in the snow, that’s for sure. Our dog is mostly white so it can be a challenge to keep track of her sometimes.
Have a good week, Dar!
I love the pictures of Sammy in the snow. Our little Milou HATED the snow – the one time we got a lot, we had to put her under our deck when she needed to go outside.
Looks like you’ve still got quite a bit of snow. That snowstorm that came to NE last week only gave us about 6″ but my nieces in CT got about 3 feet!
A lot of ours is melted now, just down to a covering and tomorrow it is suppose to be 40’s! But then back down in the 20 over the weekend.
I used to watch The Biggest Loser but don’t watch it anymore, and sorry, but I can’t stand The Bachelor, so YOU can have it! LOL
Hugs to you, Sammy and your Dad!
Love ya!
He really likes that snow. No boots or sweater or anything. My pup cannot stand the cold. She shivers when it’s 65 degrees in the house.
Your pictures of Sam in the snow or even in the house hanging out in bed are food for the soul. I can’t imagine anyone wouldn’t feel happy looking at them.
I’m glad you’re enjoying so many of the books you’re reading now. I can’t wait to read your thoughts on Ruta Sepetys new book.
I’m not a fan of doing housework but I’m always happy when it’s done because things look and smell better…I hope it’s similar for you!
I hope you’re having a good week, Dar!
Love his curly tongue in that one photo … and that fluffy Havanese tail!
He’s such a big boy now and still darn cute! DJ’s mission is to try to get 24/7 belly rubs and attention. LOL!
