I’ll start off by saying it was extremely hard to pick my top ten favorites. I got to 20, then 15, and then finally 10 and it broke my heart to cross any of them off my list. Lol. I read some really great books this past year and Goodreads tells me I read over 120 books (including audiobooks). Sheesh, who would have thought I read quite that much. Lol. So here it is – my Top Ten (in no particular order):

1. Evergreen by Rebecca Rasmussen

2. The Language of Hoofbeats by Catherine Ryan Hyde

3. The Pearl that Broke its Shell by Nadia Hashimi

4. A Day of Fire by Stephanie Dray, Ben Kane, E. Knight, Sophie Perinot, Kate Quinn, and Vicky Alvear Shecter

5. The Wife, the Maid, and the Mistress by Ariel Lawhon

6. The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd

7. The Virtues of Oxygen by Susan Schoenberger

8. Lost Lake by Sarah Addison Allen

9. The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon

10. The Art of Hearing Heartbeats by Jan-Phillipp Sendker
Has anyone else read and loved these books? Here’s to hoping that 2015 will be another great year of reading a whole lot of wonderful books!
