It’s June and it’s time for the Misery Read-a-Long (#MiseryRAL)

June 2, 2015 by Darlene

MiseryRAL

June is the month for the Misery read-a-long!  I’ve been a fan of Stephen King for as long as I can remember but surprisingly enough I have not read Misery before but I have seen the movie more times than I can count.  Anyhow this read-a-long is shaping up to be a lot of fun and I’m really looking forward to reading along with a great group of people!

Want to join in the fun?  Check out the kick-0ff post over at Care’s site and it’s so easy to follow along – all you have to do is tweet about it using the hashtag #MiseryRAL. I’m listening to the audiobook and I can already see having trouble turning it off so I’m not finished in a day or so.  LOL.  So come on – join us!

Wonderful! I could have sworn I looked and didn’t find an audio version so I ‘m glad you found it. That and, I really shouldn’t burn a credit when I own the physical book… But I do enjoy King on audio. Maybe I will use my June credit on Finders Keepers… Sorry, I’m thinking aloud over here. ha!

Care, Audible has one and so did my library (did you check yours?) but unfortunately it was already taken out. I saw Finders Keepers and that’s my next one to get. It sounds awesome!

I am going to join this RAL, never really done one before. My son is reading his way through King in order of publication, he is giving me the itch to read King too. I just got the audio from the library, excited!

Awesome Margaret! So glad you’re going to join in. I can just imagine wanting to read some King even more with your son reading his books. Too bad he wasn’t reading them out of order – then you could read together. The audio is great. The narrator does a great job with the voices and the only problem I’m having is not continuously listening. lol.

The audio is wonderful, I can picture Kathy Bates perfectly, lol.
