This novel was an ok read for me. I was expecting more of a horror story than it was. That being said it definitely has creepy elements more in the way of making you imagine the worst.
In this novel Elizabeth’s son Tommy disappears. There is no trace of him anywhere. Tommy’s friends were the last to see him and Elizabeth isn’t sure they are telling the whole truth of what happened that day. Meanwhile some strange things begin occurring. Elizabeth is sure she has seen the ghost of her son and pages of Tommy’s diary begin appearing. Pages that leave her more terrified than ever. As the story closes shocking revelations come to light about just what did happen that day.
I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by Erin Bennett. I’ve listened to her before and always enjoy her smooth narration and what she adds to the story being told. All in all I enjoyed the book and definitely had to keep listening to find out what would happen in the end.

Since this was just okay for you, I’ll probably skip it.
