Happy Sunday to you all. How has your weekend been? Good I hope. I’m hibernating for the weekend. I hit the mall on Thursday to pick up some last minute things and it was a zoo. The roads are too busy and the malls are horrible. I know some people love that whole atmosphere but I sure don’t. Anyhow I’m done for Christmas. Whatever I didn’t get I’m not getting. Lol. Our weather is finally heading towards cold. We’ve been pretty lucky other than the freezing rain so far. Can’t say I’m looking forward to the cold. My old bones don’t like it much anymore. I know a lot of you live in much warmer climates. I’m jealous ❄️.
Last week on the blog was a bit slow. I got a migraine for about three days. I couldn’t read or listen to books so the reviews I had planned for Thursday and Friday were a bust. I did manage to post for the first few days though:
Monday was a review of Elevation by Stephen King
Tuesday was First Chapter First Paragraph featuring Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center
Wednesday Book Love featured American Princess by Stephanie Thornton
The past week I was hooked on Wentworth. I think I’m on Season 4 and there is 6. I love that show. After that I’ll probably go catch up on Orange is the New Black. I quit watching it on the second season I think. What is everyone else watching? Any good shows to binge on?
Well that is all for me this week. I hope you all have a great week and a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. I’ll leave you with a few pictures of Sam. Anyone who follows my blog knows he isn’t fond of picture taking but I’ll try to get a few every week.
She made me have a bath. Not happy!
I loved Elevation! I finished (almost) my Christmas shopping this afternoon. I have a few more people on my list but I’m just going to give them money. They can pick out their own present. I’ve only had 2-3 headaches my whole life but one started coming on last night. Thank goodness it’s not bad, just enough to let me know it’s there.
I hope you and your loved ones, and of course Sammy, have a very Happy Christmas!
I enjoyed Elevation by King as well. Wishing you a Merry Christmas Dar; hope it’s special.
Aww, Sammy is so cute! We don’t have any snow and won’t for Christmas. Oh well. It’s cold and brown. No binge watching for me in a while. I did start watching Marvelous Mrs. Maisel a while ago but haven’t finished the first season.
I hope you have an enjoyable Christmas, Dar.
Always love seeing Sammy! Glad your migraine is better. Going to check out Wentworth. We are on the look out for a new series to watch. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Traffic here has been insane. I went to the grocery store Thursday and said we’ll do without anything I forgot to get. Merry Christmas!
